The problem with dropping it off a the dealer is that warranty repairs are typically towards the rear of the line, even if you bought the unit there. I suspect that non-warranty work pays much better. If you didn't buy the unit there, expect the back of the line - if they'll do it at all.
I don't trust the dealer - or any dealer - to properly keep it out of rain until they can get it in. It can take Keystone weeks/months just to approve a warranty repair, so often units sit. This is why I don't just drop it off.
I talked to my dealer and asked him to start the process with Keystone based on photos I provided. I told them that I'd tow it up immediately as soon as they could look at it. Until then, I think it's better cared for in covered storage. I will patch it, but it probably shouldn't be driven.
I followed up with Keystone and asked them to work with the dealer. No response yet.
Alpha systems did get back with me and they said as long as it's a relatively new unit and the roof didn't get torn, that a re-glue is OK... That makes for a much more conservative repair that is likely to be warrantied, assuming I accept a patched and re-glued roof on a 5 month old unit.
