Roof Protection

I have seen on upper end Class A's a piece that goes along the length of the vehicle on the edge of the roof that seems to protect the roof from tree branches.

Is there anything like this that can be added aftermarket to a fifth wheel roof to protect the rubber from being ripped by branches and also protect any objects you may have on the roof (ie solar panels, ac units, etc)

Have a photo? Even with some sort of edge-slider, you've got AC's sticking up there...

You may be seeing the awning casing.

This is a little bit off the subject, but you might want to keep an Eternabond patch kit or similar on hand. I picked up a small roll from my local RV dealer for emergency repair. I haven't needed it, but I did manage to rip off the AM/FM antenna once.
