roof repairs

Has anyone had to repair small cuts on the roof. I was on the roof this weekend and noticed some. What is the best way to repair?

I had a small area that I was unsure of and used a spray sealant that I got at Camping World. It is for use on rubber roofs.

Eternabond worked great on my TPO roof...

This, from Eternabonds website:

"Eternabond was developed to provide commercial roofers with an effective alternative to more traditional TPO roof repair and maintenance solutions. Although TPO seams can be heat-welded together, it is nevertheless common for leaks to develop. EternaBond's adhesive properties make it a perfect choice to permanently seal these seams--literally fusing roof membranes together, or fusing to the hole, crack, or split. Beyond seams, Eternabond can be used in almost any roof repair situation, from leaks, to skylights and flashings, to chimneys and copings."

i snagged a limb early last year on my TPO and i repaired it with Eternabond. It took a little prep work because it was about a 10' snag and i wanted to remove my gutter to make it look like it wasn't there and i am very happy with the end result

I used tape and dicor lap sealant around the edge of the patch. Very effective materials that ensure a waterproof repair.

X2 for eternabond. Prepared correctly eternabond is very good for tpo or epdm. Try to get it of after it has been on for a while, next to impossible.
