The sealant used for sections of the roof is the same used for windows and around compartments doors?Are there any particular brands recommended for all or each of the sections?araucano.

The sealants used on the roof are mostly a flowing type of a sealer whereas the sealants used around the windows are more like a caulking. There are many different brands. Just make sure to use the correct sealant for your particular job.

Best permanent solution for sealing horizontal surfaces is Eternabond.
