roof vents

i need to order a cover for a roof vent. it is 14X14. are they universal or do i need to know the brand name and if so how do i find that name. we got the ceiling paneling all on today and will start on the overhead walls tomorrow. looks better already.

I have 2 of these:

Amazon.com: Camco 40431 Roof Vent Cover (White): Automotive

1 over my cheap bathroom vent and 1 over my Fantastic RV vent/fan.

You don't need to know the brand name of the vents.

Do you mean the actual lid that you crank up and down? If so, those are vent lids. There are different hinges, so that you have to find out.

When the OP, "maineshops", posted that he needed to order "a cover for a roof vent" I assumed he needed "a cover for a roof vent"
After reading your reply, I realize that he may actually need a "replacement crank up vent lid", which is, (of course), "a horse of a different feather"!

replacement for a cracked one is what i need. sorry i have a tough time articulating the new jargon.
so many things to learn...so little time.
Ma is designing the new drawer and door knobs for the cnc to carve. deer and moose& bears.
our goal is to replace as much plastic as we can in this rebuild.

thanks guys..ordered all three + the seals.
upholstery material came in today. glad too cuz i want to cover the speakers with the same Mtl. and i'm ready to go back up with them
