Does anyone have ideas about where to make a complaint in regards to a Starcraft Travel Star 19CK that is one problem after another? Obviously the dealer couldn't care less and neither does Starcraft. To paraphrase their response..."We're sorry but we stand by our product and believe there's no such thing as poor workmanship" Well, whoever was on the assembly for our unit must have been on drugs let me tell you!

There are no Lemon Laws for TTs. Your best recourse is with either Trailer Life's consumer advocate, or by taking your case to the RVIA.

Thanks! I didn't think there would be a lemon law and not necassarily looking to get money back or anything but more a matter of principle. Someone told me to contact the financing institution it's financed from and they MAY do something even as extreme as refusing to finance it and make the arrangement null and void.

Although I like the RV lifestyle I have very little faith in most RV manufacturers. Once the sale is done pretty much so are they. That is just MHO. Good luck.

I know I answered about using RVIA and TL - however they should be considered a last resort. However it appears that both your first line (the dealer) and second (the mfg) have already failed. Could you perhaps outline the nature of the problems you are having?

I would try both the dealer and starcraft again - perhaps you got the wrong person on a bad day. I am amazed at how many different answers you can get to the same question depending on who you get on the other end. Keep a log of when you call and who you talked to.

The finance CO has a somewhat vested interest in your unit and its problems - after all they hold the title. While it may not hurt to contact them - I don't see where they would want to help - again alot depends on the nature of your problem.

our hi-lo is a great unit but we have slight delamination on the lower curbside panel with little coverage from the factory., they really do not care.
