Has anyone heard of reviews provided by an RV service technician or a group of technicians? If such a thing exists, it might provide a very valuable objective insight into which manufacturers sell the most reliable 5th wheel trailer. (Is there a business opportunity here?) I'm looking for my first 5er to go full-timing and want to find a brand that will really hold up well over a number of years. I'm looking at used upper tier rigs right now. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I always ask some of the service tech at various dealers what brands (other than what they sell) the see the most of and what they think of them. I also came across an independent RV repair shop and ask them. I suppose one could produce a guide based on interviews with them.

Thanks for the reply, Randy. I agree that independent shop technicians would be the best source. A web site or a guide based on interviews with them might be a great idea for some enterprising RVer out there.
