We recently had a front load washing machine and stacking dryer installed in our fiver. It worked great for about 6 weeks, I love the convenience. The washer was very noisy during the spin cycle, I tryed low, medium and high speeds. They all shake the rig but found medium was satisfactory. I have read the manual and make sure my loads are not overly full and contain like items. I use the recommended HE detergent. On the 6th week the washer spin cycle was just too much for a load that I had successfully washed each week before. I checked underneath the machine and noticed one front leg was bent the other dug into the floor. We are headed back to the factory for repairs. One possibilty is that the transport bolts were not removed before installation, I am going to have the factory check that out.
My questions:
Do you use a top load or front load washing machine? (I think the all in ones are very similar in operation to my front load washer)
Is your rv washing machine noisy during the spin cycle? How does it compare to the one you use at home?
Can you describe the noises yours makes?
Does it shake your rig during the spin cycle? Any suggestions for installation modification?
I am not sure what is normal. Any experience you would be able to share would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

The Motorhome has a Spledide front-loading combo washer dryer in it. I have used it just once (as a trial) with a few T-Shirts (4 I think). It was very quiet and had no vibration either during the wash or the dry cycle.

As we are temporaliy living in ours (Building a house) I went with the top load Apt style Washer Dryer stackable. It performs very much like the Full size unit we had in the house... just not as big ... as far as Vibration.... hmmmm if the load is off balance...you bet ... but for the most part I am satisfied with the Performance.

We have the Spendide in our MH. It's OK. Spin cycle will definately let you know it's spinning (on high), wash cycle is very quite. As stated good for a few t-shirts that's about it. Ours had installed on a built-up platform approx 4". Easier on DW to use and eliminated any way of digging into flooring.
