Sea Breeze Slideout Misalignment Problem

Does anybody know how to realign a hydrolic slideout? We bought a 30' '95' Sea Breeze 5th wheel for a steal but the LR/DR slideout has a misalignment problem. The slideout extends all of the way out in the back but sticks in about 6 inches in the front when extended. When pulled all of the way in, it's the opposite, only slightly better, it only lacks about 3 inches of completely seating in the back. All of the seals look good, the pump works, the fluid level is fine and there are no apparent leaks in the system. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated as we don't have the money to put it in the shop for repairs.

I am new to this....just bought a 1994 32' Tourmaster with a hydraulic LR/DR slide. It works OK but I see the the rails are dirty. Previous owner used lube that attracts dirt. I am going to clean off the rails and use slide lube. Silicone spray I bought at Wal-Mart in the RV section.

There are no cables that we can find, just two hydrolic rams located inside two rectanglular tubes that cross the width of the underside of the trailer and telescope out as the slide is extended. There is also a bi-folding arm located on the left hand or rear portion of the slide that extends with the slide and contains hydrolic lines and wiring.

If you have a Lippert hydraulic slide you may download the service document here.

Almost missed it:

Our slide is a HWH Hydraulic Room Extension System according to the operator's manual, but with some minor differences. Primary difference is the lack of a manual retract winch. Hope we never have to manually retract this slide as we still haven't figured out just how we would manage it as the manual retract winch is nonexistant.

I found these two primary pdf's for your slide mechanism using search term:
HWH Hydraulic Room Extension

http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml23567.pdf
http://www.hwh-europe.com/download/mp659420.pdf
it appears your synchronizing cylinder may be faulty or require adjustment.
Update! After a bit more research I found the HWH service manual download site. Hope I've helped some.

If you do not have the owners manual, you might be successful contacting Gulf Stream. Hopefully a Gulf Stream owner will jump in and with your answer.

The owner's manual is so generic it could be for a popup.

Thanks for the reference to the HWH pdf manual. That should do the trick. Looks just like our system. I'll let you know how it works out.

While I was searching, I noticed practically every service manual stated -do not partially extend/retract the slide then change directions, move the slide fully to its limit before changing direction. Humm, I didn't know that, looks like I've been lucky.

Six inches out of adjustment is more serios than a minor adjustment. I fear something is really wrong. I would take it to a pro. At least for an opinion, and estmate.
