Of the stubby fifth wheels Northwood Fox Mountain or Escape 5.0 are the shortest things I know of.

Triple EEE , although they no longer make 5ers ; when they did produce them , in Winkler Manitoba ( a place where they know what winter is all about )they were in the top three Canadian made RVs for four season use.
I boondocked in my 27.5' single slide, Triple EEE, 5er at -22 and was very comfortable.

A word to the wise , slides are the weak point in an RV's insulation , if you do plan to use the 5er in all weather , get a floor plan that is usable with the slides in . You never know when you'll have to pull the slides in and hunker down because of the cold weather.

Years ago, I owned an Arctic Fox 27.5 rear kitchen 5th wheel with 2 slides, living/dining area, and wardrobe slide. Northwood makes an excellent products and their customer service was exceptional.

Sumjoe, it's good your asking for advise about good 4 season 5er's,, . Full timing in a shortie may sound like enough space even if your single. But, before pulling the triger make sure it'll be big enough for your needs. I'm single in a 37 footer and it's just about right. Wish I had a Queen bed rather than king, could use more bedroom space. I wish I had more kitchen storage . I have a three burner propane stove w/ oven, never used the oven because I have a convection microwave. Did install a residential frig which was a BIG plus full timing.
Is this your first 5th wheel?
