shower and rainx

Hello all first question!! Proud new owners of a ,2012 Crossroads Cruiser, and this is the first anything we have ever owned that had glass shower doors. Someone had told us to use rainx on the shower glass to keep them clean. Will this work?, stain the plastic? Slippery to walk on? Unfortunately the person who told us this as a passing stranger so I couldn't go back amid ask for more info.
Thanks in advance! Bob

Been doing that for years - even in the house that has 'fancy' glass around the walk in that the wife HAD to have ....

she believes she has to clean them less

Ditto - - just do the glass, not the "fibre"glass. There are several other things that are good on the FG. And, as stated, always squeegee the glass and walls down when done and make sure it is truly a rubber squeegee, not some black plastic thing that looks like rubber.

Need More Info Please

Appreciate the scoop about Rainx. The message also says don't use Rainx on the fiberglass shower walls. What can you use on those walls to help keep them clean? Thanks in advance for the help. Thsi site is tremendous!

Rain X if fine on fiberglass as well.
Any wax- car, boat, scooter, etc- will work as well. All your looking for is a coating that will cause water to shed. Any wax base or silicone base will work on doors or walls.

X 2 on the squeegee for the shower. Wipe down after every shower. If also helps with winter moisture control.

We use a squeegee on the glass and walls. Home and MH are treated the same way. I also wipe the chrome after towling myself off. It keeps bright and shiney all the time and rarely needs anything else.

A great car wax for the whole shower, including the glass, is Rain Dance. Just wipe on, wipe off. Instead of beading the water, it causes teh water to run off. Oh, it works well on the car/truck/RV too.

We have been using Scrubing Bubbles in our shower at home and in the RV for years. Works well and aids in keeping mildew from forming.
