I got new slide awnings installed when our fiver was at Northwood Va. getting some repairs. They gave me a good deal on some slide awnings. It rained and water puddle on the slides. When I let the slides in the water ran off but was left with a stain where the water puddled. I saw on Ebay a thing made from pvc pipe that may take care of this. Does anyone use anything to keep the water from puddling on the slides? I think I can make the pvc thing for less than the shipping on Ebay.

Many folks use a cheap beach ball to support the awning during rain. It/they may be deflated for storage vs where to store the pvc pipe contraption.
The stain is probably air pollution washed out by the rain. Mine usually come clean very well while I wash the EPDM roof.

I had the same problem. save you money on e-bay and walmart stores. I went to Lowes and bought a 10ft piece of black 4 in. dia flex drain tubing. It cost less than $7.00. works likea charm and it won't stretch the awning cover beyond it's means
