Don't know what type of mechanism you have, but I adjusted my slide outs (Lippert electric) to keep them from dragging on the vinyl floor. Slideouts move around a lot on bumpy roads, they are only secured at a single point, where they make contact with the bottom of the main wall. If you have ever watched the movie, 'RV', when Robin Williams makes that sharp turn leaving home, you will see the main slide out tilt out at the top about 6-8 inches.
