I would say it’s worth getting them. We didn’t have them on our travel trailer and it was always a pain to clean off the top of the slides. Another thing with the toppers is they protect top slide seals/gasget from baking in the sun and cracking.

What he said.^^^ adjust front to back to drain water from both toppers and slide roof.

If you want to have a little fun, try to position an unsuspecting victim in the spot you expect water to drain from above. He will never see it coming...

If toppers mean that I don't have to climb on the roof to sweep our 5ers 4 slides at many CGs, they are well worth a DIYers 1200-1500 bucks. Our 5er doesn't have them but will very shortly.

Makarios RV has about the best website to define your needs if you go Dometic plus their pricing seems fair with shipping included
