Welcome to iRV2.

Very often the slide drive mechanism , is produced by a different manufacturer than the RV, is there a name on the motor that might identify the slide drive?
Power gear perhaps ?
Are you trying to remove the motor from the gear reduction box, or the whole gear box from the RV?
Anytime you have to remove a pin or bolt from a drive mechanism , you have to make sure all tension is off the connection.
Any chance you could post a photo of what your working on ?
Info on posting photos is in the " FAQ " drop box , in the dark blue bar , under the Google search box.

Took me about three weeks to get to learning all the in's and outs of adding photos to my posts.
Re-sizing to 640 pixels , and waiting till the manage attachment , box says that the download is complete are most important.
All this is assuming your using a computer or lap top , if you're working direct from a smart phone using an app , sorry I can't help.

Re Motor removal, if it is the same type as mine I may be able to help. Send pics of multiple angles to rdickinson@shaw.ca

First of all, why does the motor need to come out??

Presumably something isn't working, Fuse blown, Intellitec controller out of adjustment or blown, if you have one?? If you do have one and it's blown there is a way to bypass it. Maybe a Woodruff key sheared if there is one? This is a little thumbnail shaped pce of metal acting as a sacrificial point between the driven end(motor) and the driven end(slideout mechanism.

Send me pics, there are a number of potential problem areas. Most we can bypass or repair.
