Slide not retracting

I have a problem with my hydraulic slides not coming in. They go out but the pump does not run when trying to come in. I have checked as many fuses as I could find and checked breakers. There are two different places I can operate the slides so it is not the switch. This is a 2017 cedar creek. I leave on vacation in the morning and it is a little nerve racking right now. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Dave

I have checked the breakers near the pump. I do hear a clicking sound when trying to bring them in. It sounds right at the pump not near the breakers.

Check the Lippert website on trouble shooting slides. Are your batteries fully charged ?

Thanks for your help. Fully charged and plugged in. The pump runs when trying to make them go out, just not in.

Would a solenoid prevent the pump from running?

So are you sure they are going out? Is it possible that once out they quit working (since they won't come in)?

It is possible that your in line breaker (our's has a self-resetting breaker that failed this summer while on vacation).

There was a clicking sound like you get when your car won't start. I would take a test light and see if you are getting power across both pegs (pictures included of what our's look like and the one that needed replaced). It was a $12 part, 50A breaker.

Do you have hydraulic levelers? If so, are they working? If it's not the breaker, it could be the solenoid by your pump which Lippert had me replace when they were helping me troubleshoot on the road.

The bottom picture is the solenoid on our Lippert Level Up/Hydraulic slide system. Our's is a 2016.

I am waiting for it to get a little lighter. Still dark here. I do have the hydraulic levelers but haven't checked them yet. The clicking sound only happens when trying to go in. The pump works going out. I'll check the other in a while. Thanks.

Levelers work fine. If the pump works going out and not in that means the solenoid should be good, correct? I don't think it is the switch because it doesn't work with the inside switch either.

Most slides I have seen have a way to manually store and deploy them, have you tried that?

I know my slide won't deploy unless I give it a few turns with a wrench to get it started then it does fine.

Just a thought.

Found the problem. It is the control board. I have voltage to one side of the solenoid but not the other. I have to switch the wires around until the dealer can replace. Thanks to everyone for the help

Glad you got it figured out! These systems are great when they work correctly. [emoji12]
