I saw replacement trim on line in stainless steel to cap the original bottom trim. I decided to use white aluminum . Measured the lengths I needed , went past the vertical sweep seals and out to the end wall. Bent strips of 2" alu. @
85 degrees and drilled holes 6" on center. Trick was to keep pressure on the cap while screwing it on. 6 months now, No leaks bone dry.
In the beginning I swore the leak I had was up top somewhere and spent a bunch of time and effort chasing the problem . Never thought water running down the side walls would go behind the trim at the bottom and migrate into the slide wood floor.

Thanks again guys for all the advice! I tore into it yesterday and to say the least I was horrified at the condition of this floor... absolutely gone. Just a board shaped pile of sopping wet wood. Completely gross.

I got it all demod yesterday down to actually removing this floor. Looks like I am gonna be able to use my seawall to cut the screws off which go up into the wall, and appears the nee floor will slide in, with the slide out all the way, and into place. I looked at fully removing the slide from the rig, but I think that may be extra work that's not really needed.

For replacement... thinking replacing the 1" MDF with a 3/4" piece of marine plywood, with a piece of 1/4" UHMW laminated to the bottom... any thoughts on that? 3/4" marine plywood is structurally rated equal or higher than the 1"MDF... and the UHMW or HDPE sheet on the bottom would replace the darco and provide a nice sliding surface

You can place 2Xs to the side of your slide outs. Remove trim and use same holes. This will support slide and allow full access to it.
