Slide out wants to stick when coming in

I have a 2002 Flagstaff 8528 RLSS and need to raise the interior edge of the slide out so that it will come in easier. I have tried adjusting the rails at the outer edge of the slide out so to raise the inside edge but it is adjusted all the way and still to close to utilize the black polymer strip(hard black plastic?) that is screwed down on the area between the rv and the slide out. I have not found any help at Lippert sites or on You Tube to date and was wondering if surely someone else has encountered this same problem and can help me correct this issue. I did replace the carpet using a 3/16" underlayment and a 2mm peel and stick but was assured by the dealer that this was not to thick to cause the slide out to stick. The slide out does come in with the black strip removed but doesn't look very good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Adjusting the outside of the slide on the rams does nothing for the inside of the slide floor.

slide out sticking

If you are calling what I adjusted "rams", I fail to understand. I went and spoke with a local repair facility and he stated I was making the adjustment in the correct manner, but that I had run out of travel. I spoke with a mechanical engineer this morning and we agree the solution is to slot the remainder of the fixture so that I have more room to adjust the rails. If you disagree with this solution please state why you disagree. When I get it finished I will post how the outcome was.

The rams are only attached to the outside wall of the slide, right? If not, I don't know what system you have. But because it is only attached to the outside, that's all the adjustment affects.
The only effect it will have to the inside floor is through a lever movement. The floor rides on rollers/teflon pads/something that is on the top, lip, outside edge of the main floor. So you raise the outside, you actually lower the inside slightly. That effect is exagerated when the slide goes further and further in, when the inside of the slide floor is furth from the fulcrum (rollers/pads).
