Unhappy Slide out With Its Own Mind

I have weid problem. My slide out came out by its self. The motor on the slide out is a power gear. First it starting clicking then it came out. If I disconnect all the power sources then it shuts off. If it has any power source whether from the battery or from 30amp service it starts to click. The slide out is out and the switch does not work in or out but it does click when you push the "in" switch. I closed the slide out manually and when I plugged the electric in it came out again on its own.Can anybody please help with suggestions.

Have you tried looking at the documentation on Power Gear
All you need to do is go to technical documentation and select the make and model of your RV and the proper tech documents will appear. There are too many variables to try it without the make and model info.

Faulty switch? Disconnect the wires from the switch and see what happens when you re-connect to shore power.
