Slide Outs

I have a 2013 5th wheel b keystone, with 3 slides. My mechanical slide on the rear of my rvsticks in the closed position. so that when i go to extend my slide it will not move on its own. i have to get underneath and manualy move it about a inch before the gears will catch and extend. Sometimes when closing if i stop it soon enough it will extend on its own the next time. seems to me there has to be a adjustment for a stop on the closing.

It would be helpful if you could let us know the type of slide you have, or describe what it looks like. Pictures are even better.
It sounds like the stop adjustment is way out of whack.
