Slide topper brackets snapped off slide

Just had both the front brackets on A&E slide toppers snap out of both living room and bedroom slides 20 days apart. Anybody have a similar experience or any idea of cause. Both toppers but not hardware replaced in NovemberClick image for larger version

I wonder if the new fabric was too short or the springs were too tight and put too much stress on the brackets.

Mister D

That's been my thinking but don't know how to confirm.

Currently in Canada with expensive AT&T so it will wait for my return and contact A&E as well as CW and my manufacturer. Also going to Escapade Vermont maybe Dometic Rep will be there and I can get some advice.
