Slideout lifting in high wind??

We were camping at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last week for the NASCAR race in our 2011 Cardinal 3450 RL and encountered high winds that caused the the livingroom slide to lift up slightly during wind gusts. It was to the point that you could see daylight along the top. Has anyone else encountered this? It appears that it is adjusted correctly because it fits flush around the edges. The wind gusts were at least 40 mph. Thanks for any input.

I never had that problem but I pull my slides in if it is really bad weather because the slide topper covers really flop around in the high wind.

There's nothing wrong with your rv. It has happened to us also in high winds in MT. Kinda scary but nothing you can do or need to do.
