Slideout problem

I have a 2002 Travel Supreme that I am going to sell for a friend whose husband just passed away. It is a 40' 5th wheel , and has been parked for some time. The bedroom slideout works fine when I push the button to extend and retract, however the 2 slides in the living room don't power out. I can manually jump the motors and they work, but not from the switches in the hall. any suggestions as to where to start? Also if someone is interested she is willing to accept somewhere around low 30s for the rig, and it is very nice, never smoked in or pets ---Located in North Alabama

Welcome to iRV2.com.

You may look for a blown fuse between the switch and the motor controller. I'm sure others will be along soon with some suggestions too.

We do have a calssified section associated with the forum, albeit it is in the process of being upgraded. You can list the coach for sale there.

Here's what I'd do. First remove the switch from it's mounting, test for 12VDC input power. While activating the switch test for output power_ if-yes, then(as K-star stated) trace the wiring to the motor controller, confirming 12VDC along its length(using simple 12V power probe), until you locate loss of power.
