Slideout seal replacement

I need to get info on how to replace the gasket seal on my 5th wheel. Any help will be appreciated.

It would be helpful if you noted the make and model of your 5er and any other information you might have. There are lots of folks here that might already have and answer for you. So not know what type of 5er you have may I suggest you contact your manufacturer or an RV dealer close to you. That may be a good starting point.

The bottom seal on my slide started tearing. I found that the rollers (3) the slide ran on were bad that caused the room to be low. Too much drag on lower and a gap on the upper seal. Room needs to be removed on mine to replace seals. Fixed rollers then seals were ok.

sllideout seal

I have a 2008 Jayco Designer and the slide is about 6 feet wide. It was suggested that make and model might help with the info I need to replace the seal.

Call manufacturer and get name and part # for seal. Should be easy to get and then replace seal. May want to replace all seals at the same time. Add a slide cover if you don't have one.
