I keep the leveling blocks and the blue boy back there, occasionally the 5 gallon gas tank for the gen.

Everything else is in the basement or perimeter storage.

It really depends on the where we are going. Dry camping we'll have a generator back there. And that may be it.

If it's raining then everything goes in the trailer. If not I may put the folding table and our zero gravity chairs in the bed.

Sometimes we have bikes in the bed. Sometimes I bring a smoker. Maybe firewood if I have it to bring. We sometimes have that in the rear pass through of the trailer. Sometimes I bring a cooler with ice and additional beverages if we're going to be somewhere for awhile.

So it all varies, anywhere from nothing to a few things.

Typically firewood, recycling bin, and wheel chocks when not in use. Rest is in the garage (toy hauler) or basement.

I’m so interested that people travel with firewood. I’m in the Midwest and haven’t found a campground yet that allows firewood to be brought in because of spreading tree diseases etc. Is that just a line to get you to buy firewood?? I assumed there was a fine.

This is our first season with a truck and TT instead of Class C but our plan for the truck bed is our dog fencing and a tub with misc we want quick access to upon arrival. Unless we can find a good kayak carrier for the back of the TT, we’d add kayaks to the truck bed as well, but it’s a short box so not my favorite plan.

It’s not just a sales gimmick. As a pest control operator in Missouri, I can say that the reason is the spreading of the emerald ash borer. It’s an invasive species that is not a good thing to have. Moving firewood from an infected area to a non infected area can destroy trees. Many ignore the rules just to save a couple bucks on firewood, but then the locals lose because the department of conservation (funded through locals paying taxes) has to fight this issue on their own.

On topic, I will be using the bed of my truck for our bicycles.

Tool box, hitch, folding step stool, wooden grab rod with hook for pulling things back towards the rear, the Champion 3500 inverter if needed plus 5 gal gas tank, 2 gal propane tank for grill, fire extinguisher, rubber chocks. A few other things may get tossed in if they are wet.

Generally, I prefer everything else lives in/on the 5th so I don't have much to load at the last minute.

A four fold cover covers the entire bed if not hitched.
