Wow. I see my entire thread was deleted without explanation.
Until these latest posts, I was impressed by the courtesy and friendliness of this website. Clearly, my assessment was premature. I'm very saddened by that.
I apologize for my intrusion here and didn't realize that I was harming anyone on this forum. I honestly thought that this was a Q&A venue which invited active participation and didn't realize that I was wasting anyone's time with my many questions about buying a fifth-wheel RV. You might want to clarify the wording of your forum's rules and invitation to discourage inquisitive people like me from joining. I recommend that you clearly post the limit of questions allowed per day/week and at least notify someone like me that I've exceeded that limit before you simply delete my thread. Honestly, I had no idea that my questions were offensive (or perhaps my bland tongue-in-cheek humor??) and/or in violation of forum numerical limits.
I'm in an accelerating process of going blind from an aggressive type of macular degeneration and had already been in decline from a very painful auto-immune disorder. I'm awaiting Social Security disability qualification. That is why I had said that I retired young, sold my house and was in a hurry to get an RV in the next few weeks. I've had to entirely revamp my life, lifestyle, and financial circumstances for a long haul of unknown duration and quality of life. I've had to do all of this in a relatively short time and it hasn't been an easy transition. I might wish that I had the luxury of leisurely visits to dealerships and months of investigation and research. (At times I cannot drive safely so this also restricts me to on-line resources for days at a time.) Yet, I must make my decisions in the next three weeks or have to spend a lot of money on hotel stays. So I'm in a hurry to select and buy an RV and get setup in a new place of residence very quickly. [Because Texas refused to set up its own health exchange under Obamacare, it actually works out wonderfully to my advantage, but I must quickly change my residency to Texas because the governor's stone-walling makes me eligible for provisions in the State of Texas superior to those in my prior state of legal residence. But to avoid a break in health insurance coverage, I have to make my move and get everything set up by January 1. As you probably heard on the news, the health exchanges under Obamacare opened today.]
So again, I apologize, though I'm still not aware of what rules I violated. In any case, I appreciate very much those who have assisted me during my short time here, both on the threads and through your private messages to me. (I am especially grateful to Jesilvas for his very informative answers and for his gracious, kindly offer to assist me at his RV repair establishment/dealership. I do hope to travel through your area when I make my next trip through there. Thank you, Jesilvas!)
Thanks again for those of you who were so helpful and gracious in helping me with a very difficult transition.
[I'll log-off now and that will allow Blacksmith to complain about me, accuse me of "blowing smoke", and contemplate his imagined superiority over an inferior who has found himself in a situation of having to learn a lot and make a great many decisions and major life changes in a short space of time. I will look for another RV forum where I can post my questions, because I'm dealing with some very tight deadlines and difficult obstacles.]
