Spare Tire

I bought a 2005 Travel Supreme 5th wheel without and owners manual. i need to know how to get the spare tire down from underneath the unit.

You should have a crank stowed somewhere ( in the basement?) that you slide into a hole somewhere near the rear end where the spare is - you slide it in and crank it down.

If you crawl underneath, you'll see the reel of cable that unwinds to lower the spare. The crank fits into a shaft that turns the reel.

Not sure if it works the same as the spare on my truck, but on my Silverado you have to crank it UP first to release a lock or something like a lock on the mechanism, then turn it counter clockwise to lower it. First time I had to get at my spare, I couldn't get it to crank down until I cranked it up a bit.
