Question Spare Tire Crank

My used 2006 Mobile Suites 38RL3 did not come with anything
to lower the cable spare tire winch.

There is an access hole in the rear above the license plate but
I am unsure of what fitting is required.

Does anyone have a link of a description of what I need for a crank?

Thanks bunches

Our ORV spare crank is a round dowel with a pressed in pin at 90 degrees that engages the mechanism.

You might want to crawl underneath and look to see what you need. Some use a 3/4" socket welded to a crank.

I did crawl under but only the winch shows. The rest is covered......
My 5th wheel is parked some distance from our home.

Can you shine a flashlight into the hole to see the crank end? Our Cameo uses a 3/4" socket which I can use a socket extension and battery operated drill to lower/raise.

I'll get the flashlight out this weekend and see if I can see the fitting...

Well I went up to the RV and I am baffled regarding the spare tire winch.

The rod showing has no slot, nor any indication you can use a socket on it.

I've attached a photo of what I see. And since the belly is enclosed it's the
best I can do without removing the belly coverings.

Removing the belly cover is not a big deal. Just cut it open with a utility knife, either a slit or a 3 sided flap. For repair, clean the cut with rubbing alcohol and use black Gorilla duct tape.
