Splendide Dryer
I have a Splendide Ariston model TVM63X (NA). Their weakness is the thermal fuse at the top where two black wires connect. The Splendide part number is 303464. My thermal fuse is open or broke. My question is this: Does anyone know a cross-reference that one can purchase that part less expensive. Splendide wants $32.00 + $10.00 s&h. I’ve purchased for other brands at $10 - $15. The rating of the thermal fuse is 85 degree Celsius. Thanks.

Once you get it fixed be sure to keep the screen clean when using it. We got a little lax on that and over heated the little button thermostats (I think they called them that). Since I replaced them have been very careful and have had no problems since.

Seems like any like rated thermal fuse should work, just solder in the connections.

I'd have no issue giving it a try - but might need to find a 120v replacement Get the Prime part and return if it does not work

Still looking. Most are 80 degree C rating. Just want to find a near exact rated one so others don’t have to pay over $40 for a $10 part, if we can.

An 80 deg thermal fuse ought to be close enough for a W/D!

One of the reasons these fail is the lack of proper ventilation. Keep the door(s) slightly open when the dryer is running and check the air discharge duct for accumulations of debris that might restrict air flow.
