No ideas here but definitely a trip back to the dealership. Something isn't right.

Mor ryde step above

We're looking at adding these too. I have to verify several dimensions first. See attached fit document from morryde. Couple of these could cause your problem.

Had another thought too. Check to make sure when the steps are out the extension feet aren't out too far keeping the hinged plate across the threshold up. That could cause the door not to shut. I would have thought the dealer would have tested to make sure the door closes...

I have these steps and they are wonderfully solid but they need to be adjusted correctly every time or the screen door will jamb or be hard to open.
It sounds like your steps are not adjusted correctly, either steps are not level or are too high causing the threshold plate to be to high. Every camp site will be different, so step adjustment will be slightly different.

Just because of those type problems, and the fact you need to clean them off before storing, I went with the Torklift Revolutionary brand.......

We have had no issues with ours. We adjust the legs on the bottom of the steps so they are level and all is good.

I installed mine. I had the same problem. I discovered I could not follow the directions. Instead I Had to make sure the new step skid plate and jam was alway up against the current 5th wheel door jam. After that my door closed very well.
