Stovetop grommet gammet

I know it's easy to come by the silicone grommets for a stovetop, but why doesn't anyone know anything about the washer that floats on top of it. I've tried all the repair/parts places and Magic Chef themselves, but I was told you have to buy a new grate to get them. Yes, you can find washers to work if you really, really search the hardware stores. But doesn't it seem like these would be a common item, especially since they are needed to hold the grate up from slipping through the grommet. Am I the only one who has little bumps on the legs of the grate that sit on top of the washers? HELP!

Hey Ken,

Know what you mean and same happened to me.
I called 800-322-8216 and ordered 4 from Fleetwood.
They are Magic Chef and correct for your stove top.

Steve
