Stupid soft start question

Could you run 2 soft starts to get more benefit on your AC? Was up in Flagstaff over the weekend and our generator couldn't quite start the AC

As pasdad1 said. My Micro-air easy start allows me to start and run my 15000 btu roof air on a Honda eu2000, could not do it with a hard start capacitor.

I have a micro-air easy start on each of the 2 units 15k & 13.5k. I can run both units with a 3500 predator inverter generator. Love it!!!!

Does your generator start it in other locations? Flagstaff is 7000'ASL, which means a 2kW genset is only going to be about 1600W at that altitude. I've thought about those soft start kits but even with one of those I'm not sure my genset will have enough guts at the altitudes I camp at.

In Tucson and the few other places we have been, the generator worked great with just hard start capacitor, without it you couldn't be in eco mode, with it you could.

Can you comment on your usage and exoerience? Thoughts as compared to the nearly $300 micro air?

I haven't had a chance to install the micro-air, much less use it yet. I know it's expensive but we are getting ready for a month long trip so I felt the expense was justified. I will let you know once we get back from our trip or even during it if I can, what I think of it... I sure hope its worth it.
