This is me, and yes we love it. We are parked permanently now and have purchased a small travel trailer for adventures.
The RiverStone seems to be a quality product at a very reasonable price. I base this statement on my previous two units....one Mobile Suites and one Arctic Fox. The RiverStone is head and shoulders above our last two in quality.

Did you forego a tow vehicle? The OP wants to be without one...infrequently moving it commercially.
If so, how does that work?
We have known two couples that lost their trucks for one reason or another...they found that commercial 5the wheel RV movers are rare (so they just broke-down and asked other RV'ers with a 5er for help).
Safe travels

Yep, we just traded the dually for a 1500 to tow the small trailer. We have neighbors here that tow RVs commercially so getting the big one towed at some point will not be an issue. It seemed silly to me to keep the dually with no real use fpr it in the future.
This is the replacement:

Buy a park model instead. Cheaper, better insulation, more room, better appliances. And best of all no having to dump the black tank weekly.

Still wondering...why a 5er if it's not going to be moved?

Why not? The park models I've seen did not interest me in the least. For me, the ability to tow the trailer, if we desire, far out weighs the step issue.
But, this discussion has no right or wrong as it is based on opinion.....and everyone has one.

Just my wife and I. Don't want to own a truck. If a move is necessary have it done.
We like the compact, minimalist possibilities with some luxury and amenities.
Thanks for any help.

Ultimately, it is up to you, but I have been researching my next fifth wheel in a couple of years and looked at Grand Design Solitude, Jayco and Keystone Avalanche. I have finally settled for now on KZ Durango 2500 (318 model) or Durango Gold (355 model). The 2500 is the extended stay and the Gold is the Full Time unit. With shopping around, the 2500 is 50K ish and the Gold is 60K ish. Durango seems to go for quality and value as opposed to bling.

Buy a used 3-5 years old top of the line fifth wheel, rather than a new low or middle end unit.
