Sunny brook Brookside?????

My son is looking at a 2011 Sunny brook Brook side 345 FWSE. Can't find much info other than it's made by Winnebago . Anyone have any knowledge they'd be willing to pass on?

Thank you!

Need to check all the sealant on roof/sides. Check for water stains/damage and rot mainly.

be sure to have him check the bedroom slide for leaks and resulting rot issues .... heavy use of structure board .... nowhere near the quality of units that were produced by Sunnybrook before 2006

I have a 2011 SunnyBrook 3510 Bristol Bay. Around 2011 Winnebago bought SunnyBrook. It was a way for Winnebago to get into towable.

Anyway my 2011 SunnyBrook is not insulated that well and it came with crappy tires.

Other than that everything in it has worked w/o any problems. Not sure how much your wants to spend but instead of buying a 2011 model run of the mill 5th wheel. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought a better built, with a better frame, axles, tires, and insulated used 5th wheel.

A 2008 NuWa is better than a 2011 SunnyBrook for example.

So I'm seeing rot is a common thread. Hmm.

Thank you all for the input, I greatly appreciate it.

Unfortunately, rot is an issue because people do not realize the amount of maintenance required on an RV.

Easy to find out if a privately owned unit was maintained; ask them about winterizing, the water heater anode (if it has one), washing/treating the roof and checking all the sealant on the sides/roof. If they have no idea or can't say how they did it, they didn't.
