[QUOTE=grindstone01;4446697]I made my own rear hitch. I used thick wall 2" tubing welded under the 2 trailer frame rails with gussets in front and back. It was shade tree engineering. My Cameo fifth wheel frame is box tubing which may be heavier duty than most.

That's great but my understanding is if the Swivel wheel is not mounted by the manufacture standards you could face legal issues if the mount separated and caused injury to someone. Kind of like being overloaded and having an accident and killing someone. I know what you did is probably fine but I would rather be legal and not risk a lawsuit or jail.

On the other hand, if I gave it too much gas, I would slam into the wheel chock. I did like the GL reverse for unloading.
The ramp with the sliding wheel chock looks like a winner. I have a Valkyrie Interstate that's just too intimidatingly heavy to even think about duck walking it up a ramp on a regular basis.

ramp

Not happy with ramp.Way to tippy. It could be because I have 19" front wheel.Try it before you buy if you can.
