Tailgater Mounts for 5er

Not wanting to use a tripod for the Tailgater, I fabricated 2 mounts, one that will fit in 3 places on the ladder and one for the pinbox. Works great. Also wired the locations so I don't have to string cable on the ground to each location.

Last weekend I saw where someone put their TailGater on top of their bedroom Slideout. It was out of reach of Sticky Fingers, and partially protected from stray balls when the kids are playing nearby!

Fantastic idea! I just want to ask did your Tailgater already have a steel base attached or did you make your own and use the 4 holes in the circular center portion so as to still have the rubber corner pads? I only have the corner pads and then on towards the center there are four unused holes. TIA Rod

The Tailgater did not come with the plate on it. I just threaded the empty holes in the 4 bosses and made an plate out of 1/8" thick alum and welded the tube in the center.
