Red face Tedford Aria valve sticking

Replaced all the guts in the Tedford Aria permanent toilette with buttons on the side. Now less than 6 months the valve is starting to stay open

Any one else have problems with their permanent toilettehttp://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif

I got rid of that Thetford POS toilet back in March 2010.

The original owners of my coach had three new Aria II toilets installed in the 18 months that they owned the coach. After I bought it in December of 2003 between then and 2010 I had to put in three Motor/Valve/Seals assemblies. Finally I got tired of all of the problems and the noise that the POS would make if you tried to use it in the middle of the night.

I replaced it with a Sealand Magnum Opus electric toilet. Unfortunately they are no longer available however its little sister is called the Concerto. For the past 4+ years I have had ZERO problems and it's very quiet to use. It won't wake up the neighbors when you go to flush it unlike the Aria II.

About the only useful thing that the Theford Aria II toilets are good for is using it as a boat anchor.
