The DOT stopped me this morning!

Hi

The DOT stopped me this morning!

I was driving my wife’s 3500 pulling a trailer with a rented backhoe on it.

The first question ask by the officer was “Where is the company name on your truck”.

I informed him that it was not a company truck.

The questions continued.

The end result was he determined there wasn’t any violation only because I had the rental receipt with me showing the backhoe and trailer rented to me and my explanation that I used it to do a little digging in my front yard.

Oh did I mention I showed him a picture I had with me of this little bit of digging to show the rental company how much sand could be moved in 10 hours with their machine.

That’s me standing in the far end of the ditch.

Kind of aggresive questioning though.

To be politically correct, the term is vertically challenged.

To be moved that fast it must have been quicksand.

I'm amazed the fence has no damage on it, you must have a lot of experience with the backhoe since he fence is so close. Nice job!!!!!!!

My husband has his own backhoe, so I think I can speak with a certain amount of authority when I suggest that the reason the fence is still there is because of the not-in-the-picture wife who stood there all morning waving her arms around and yelling:
"YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE FENCE!!!!"

I have been accused of being a vast waistland. Does that fall into the politically correct regimen?
