2 beds , W/D hookups ( i put a small freezer there instead for my venison ) . And room for a shoulder mount 9 point whitetail , a pheasant , mallard and wood duck , along with a fan mount of a Rio Grande Turkey on the walls .

Since you haven't done this yet . I think the TH gives you flexibility to use it as a shop and a toy of your choosing.
If I could swing it , I would go with the GD Momentum. Better built, higher quality.
I am still considering the TH, I know it would be more practical for me for hunting fishing and I could get back into reloading when the weather is bad.
I like the idea of a chest freezer for game. I really got sidetracked looking at some of the nice used luxury bunkhouses. I got a couple months to finalize my decision unless somthing used comes up I cant pass up.

You should be fine with your duelly and this pin weight with no problem. And again, the Redwood is rated by the manufacturer as full-time livable, where the Grand Design is not. Just something to consider when deciding to hit the road full-time.

I am not seeing a lot of used toy haulers available at the low-end valuations like I am in some of the quality bunkhouses. I have been very tempted by a 2018 Vanleigh Vilano, and also a very nice hardly used 2015 Lifestyle. Both are under $50,000. It may not be ideal, I know there is always trade offs. I think I would just get a hitch setup on the back for a motorcycle, and probably make due just fine. The dog will be more work, but hey I'm retiring so time won't be an issue.

You better do some research on the weight of the motorcycle and the rack or lift for the rear of the trailer. Non are made to support 1200 lbs off the rear of the frame.

Assuming a 750lb bike and a 400lb lift

Yes, I have a 400lb KTM 1290 that I wil probably be trading for a smaller dual sport. I see there are also some interesting Motorcycle carrier/trailers that just pull from a hitch.

One of the great things about a TH is when it's time to clean the floor you just lower the ramp and blow it all out with a small electric Ryobi leaf blower. That's what I do anyway

I also have a small vertical chest freezer in the back. It's nice having 40x the capacity of the factory freezer for food, dog food and whatever else. If it's been plugged in all night and everything is frozen solid, after driving 10+ hours and 700+ miles it's still frozen when I get to where I'm going! Only thing I've ever had that/melt was ice cream and it was on the very top of everything inside.

Different perspective. I have a heavily modified 23 ft TT which I boondock in and reside in full time. I can get to places that my friends can not. It’s just me and a cat. I would consider this with recliners instead of the dinette. It’s essentially the floor plan I have in my TT. You can put the motorcycle in the bed. Because of the dog I would migrate based on temperature.

I had a similar situation. Traveling the mountain west for 6 months was friggen awesome. Your dog will love it too. Now I have a job[emoji3525]

If I had a truck that could pull a 23,000 lb 5th wheel I see a mobile suite toy hauler that would be perfect.

Something I haven't considered. It looks like a great boondock option.

Did I read that you have a 2001 Chevy dually. My knee jerk reaction is that is not a great tow vehicle because the new trucks are so much stronger.

Anyway, at just 56 you can find a better woman. One that you might have more in common with.

I would try to keep things simple. No to a toy hauler and yes to a travel trailer like the easy to tow Winnebago Mini Plus 27 models. Heck, I might even go smaller.

If you go with a fiver with a decent frame, or even so so frame, you can put a Fastmaster Swivel Wheel on it. I have both the 46 and 58, and they have worked out great.

The ultimate single wheel trailer system.

That is quite a different story than a bagger. You can prob get away with hanging a 350lb bike with a 100lb rack on the back.

I bought a 5th wheel today. I ended up getting a 2017 Riverstone RE38. Its much more then I need, but hopefully the kids will come and spend some time in it. I am going to be looking for a truck once the house sales.
