Never go by weight charts, no tire manufacturer recommends running less than what the tire placard in/on the RV recommends.
Tandem tires are subject to great sidewall stress', that's why they have much heavier sidewall construction than LT, P, or other use-ratings.
Lostdog is right, according to the RMA, over 80% of all tire failures are the result of under-inflation/overloading.
