Tire Replacement
Currently I'm running the original Goodyear Lt 235/85-16 (Load Range G) tires on my 35' Limited. Low mileage, plenty of tread, covered when stationary and I've kept them conditioned with Aerospace 303 Protectant. With a trip to Alaska coming up and the tires being 5 years old, thought maybe it would be good time to replace them. Just short of $1800 at PEP Boys (includes balance and stems). OUCH. Seems the “G” limits my options. I've read in other posts where different manufacturers' tires where used for replacement at lower costs.
Okay, that's my question. Are there options for replacing the “G” rated tires currently on my rig? What, where, how? I did find Boto and Hercules on Amazon with limited positive reviews. Thoughts please...

I'd definitely be inclined to stay with LR-G. This would also mean your rims / wheels are rated for 110psi. ?
We put these Sailuns on our last trailer and would rate them highly. We even had them shipped directly to a local Les Schwab dealer (made arrangement ahead of time) who came out (on-site, not all do) to the CG we were staying in. They removed the wheels (5 ea. including spare) side at a time. All for about $500+ less than your quote, including HD steel stems, balancing etc. Very sturdy tires. Popular with commercial / hotshot haulers despite their mfr . origin.

When our current GY LR-H time out, (as they all do) we'll be faced with a similar decision.
A point to ponder is the GY strong warranty policy (for whatever it's worth) factored into the premium pricing. Many have filed claims with success.
Never heard of the Boto, The Hercules are also used frequently on commercial vehicles too.
Best of luck.

On our last trl. we blew a no name original equipment tire. Went to our local Walmart got Goodyear Marathons for a little over $100 per tire. You can order them off there app, ship to store & mount free, they will charge for stems & balancing. Our trl we have now came with G/Y on it. Wouldn't have any other, we've done about 35,000 on G/Y with no issues. Good luck & have fun on your trip to alaska, we did that trip in 2016.

A vote for Sailuns--last trailer had them for a trip to AK and no problems. Ran them on the 450 also, no problems.
Simple Tire will ship anywhere and give you the name of an installer. Or, as mentioned above, check with WM as they have stores just about everywhere, especially Fairbanks/Anchorage.
When checking the reviews on Amazon, don't just go by the good ones, check out the 1-star and 2-star reviews also.

I have Sailuns on my F53 and they are performing very well. The only tire I would not recommend are Carlyle’s. I’ve had and seen more flats with those tires I will never buy them again.

I bought a Sailun 235/85/16 "G" tire 2 weeks ago from Simple Tire online shipped to our CG for $147 and Walmart mounted it for $5. The DOT date was 32/17, 7 month old tire.

When I bought my Sailuns for the 5th wheel, they only sold trailer tires. Did they start making them for trucks?

We try not to run our tires past 4 - 4 1/2 years. You will find that Rvers rarely wear out a tire. We age them out. When they blow they do lots of trailer damage ( I personally had 2 blowouts and they did $1200 per side. I did not have a chance to get the first damage fixed before the 2nd blew). Plus we are full timers so this is our home and a blow out could cause you to loose control and that would be very bad.
We have changed from GY G614 (16") to GY G114 (17.5"). The new ones are range 'H' (I have no idea why the are called G114). It took new rims also so it was a big hit the first time but we are quite happy with the G114's. These tires are pricey but we have had no problems at all.
Whatever, you decide to get DON'T GO CHEAP. And I would replace them before heading for Alaska if for no other reason than they will probably be easier to get down here than up there (or so I have heard. I have no first hand experience on this).

The Sailun S637 come in two sizes;
...ST235/80-16 G at 4080 lbs capacity and are 30.8" diameter which is about the same diameter as the G614.
...and a ST235/85-16 G at 4400 lbs capacity and are about 31.7" diameter.
These are probably the best load G tire out here and popular with rv folks and especially commercial haulers on their trailers..
Being a all steel ply carcass their a commercial grade tire. The best part they don't cost two arms and a leg like the over priced G614.

Perhaps it's considered heresy here to ask and suggest a load range E. Does the weight you are carrying need the G or are they there because the myth that the heavier the better? I believe in matching components for the job. If an E will provide the appropriate capacity and safety I would use that. I also run on ST tires the max pressure posted on the tire, not the trailer, for the weight capacity.
For the newly purchased Crusader I put on the GY Endurance with LR E. They have plenty of capacity for this load.
EDIT ADD; I got 4 from an independent tire shop locally who beat the Sam's price. Mounted the "best" of the "old" as the spare
