The toilet in our fiver has come loose from the floor. There are apparently 2 wood screws that hold it and they have worked loose. Any suggestions on fixes?

There should be a floor flange that's attached to the floor, usually with four screws. Then the toilet is attached to the floor flange with closet bolts which are brass.

Maybe just the closet bolts are loose?

Lynn, Hitchhiker gave you the right answer, if you remove the toilet to tighten the flange ,, check the floor to make sure there was no leak that made it soft...see ya Bud
