Left side pedal sounds like a Dometic/SeaLand 510 toilet
Here is an exploded view..item 11 is spring cartridge (pedal return spring assembly)

You didn't give a model #, so perhaps this video will help, perhaps not. Sealand is now owned by Dometic, so all parts and information is now from Dometic. http://manuals.adventurerv.net/Domet...s-2000-100.pdf

Same toilet different issue
I have the same toilet, the difference between fill and flush is so close as to be impossible. Depress the lever enough to start to fill the bowl and the ball valve starts to open at the same point. It's like I'm flushing and filling at the same time, is that a warranty issue or just tough luck? Would a new flush valve solve the issue, or is there an adjustment that I'm unaware of?

Some toilets will allow you to lift the pedal to fill and not open the ball valve. Lift to fill and push down to flush. Not sure about yours.

Same problem here ...............
I have the same issue. It takes a deft foot to not also open the flush valve when it's working right but about half the time half the fill water goes down the drain. Even working the lever by hand often loses some water when filling. It worked much better when new three years ago. I have not addressed this yet, but I'm betting that it's wear or loss of lubrication or something along those lines. From what I've seen, there is no adjustment. I think it takes a tear-down and inspection to find the issue.

I'm in the same boat as hclarkx, I have difficulty finding the 'sweet spot' between fill and flush. I've got a Tethford Aqua Magic 2 and it's lost it's magic.
I was wondering if my valve is worn as suggested above. Dose anybody wish they had a 'high boy' toilet like at home. I'd love a higher seat level.

Clifford, my toilet is a Dometic (Model 310 I believe). It's labeled as "standard height." Looks to be considerably taller than the "low-profile"models shown in the manual. The top of the toilet seat is 18" from the floor. It's even a bit higher than the new water saver toilets I put in my house a few years ago (they are 17.5," noticeably higher than the originals). I was pleasantly surprised to find 18" in our 2015 Rockwood. I'm 6-3 and long legged so appreciate the height. I do wish the seat were longer, front to back. The model 320 would provide that though I don't know that the shower door would clear it.
