I haven't found a vehicle yet that had too much power . I would say you'd be getting close to too much power if it kept spinning the wheels at hwy speeds when you stepped on it. 650 hp is nice in a car.

They are fairly rare, Cummins only made them starting in 2007. Found in Country Coach as an option over the 600 hp. Foretravel and a few others used them too. The hp plate is hard to see as it's on the passenger side, below the engine access and lettering is in a dark red about 3" high. You wouldn't notice it on passing.
They are also prone to breaking valves off. Mine has done it twice, once at 14,000 miles and again at 45,000 miles. Cost to fix was over $33,000 the last time. I know of one that went $40,000. However, Cummins did come out with a new head, valves, turbo and programming that seems to be working OK.

Too stiff maybe, but never too much power.

Too stiff on some light trailers can tear them up on towing. think a 3500 4500 rear end on a 4000 lb travel trailer....

Nothing wrong with a car that chirps at 55mph! no doubt about that.

Years ago I owned a sledgehammer of an SL55... ate vipers for lunch. Would chirp when you hammered it after the down shift, heck that thing would take 2nd gear at 50. It was awesome.

I add more HP/TQ (60/120) to my engine and improve the fuel mileage for my tow vehicle by doing this. I went from 8 to 9 mpg to 10.5 to12 mpg towing my 5ER.

I assume you meant "tow vehicle"?
Well my MH is rated to tow 15,000#'s, pretty much makes it a tow vehicle, but not much use for a 5th wheel.

Yes...meant Tow Vehicles! Trying to make a point here but don't think anyone's gotten it yet! I'll wait some more and see where this goes...

To much power is not possible. I have never heard anyone complain of to much. Now not enough brakes that is a different story.
We have a good amount of both right Glenn?
