Is is possible to have too much of a good thing?
I believe "too much" power is just enough!

Some just think anything above a pop up require a diesel and/or 1 ton dually. Don't get it.

These are the things that make the difference while towing.
So there is a lot there in regards to capability. But it's all a compromise. My F-350 doesn't fit in parking garages. Service on diesel engines is expensive. Half tons ride far more comfortably. Dually's can't go through drive through restaurants, banks, or pharmacies.
I've decided a 1 ton diesel SRW is a good compromise for me.
Everyone values these things differently.
Now what I don't understand is everyone's love for 3/4 tons but that's another matter

I’ll take the comfy ride from my 3/4 ton over a one ton any day. And, it does just fine towing

too much power...hummm. I guess that would mean while pulling the 5er shifting into third gear and spinning the rear tires and leaving 30 foot of black marks on the road! Now that would be too much power...
