Towing 31 ckts 2011 Palomino Sabre

We need to tow our 5th wheel to our permanent spot about 35 Minute trip and wonder if a 2008 Chev Silverado 1500 4x4 4.8 litre engine is capable of handling this rig. They tow a 5th wheel now around 7000 lbs and this unit is 9800.
Thanks for any feedback

For a one time short trip it will be fine. You will not enjoy it and don't have any extras in the truck or trailer but if you are careful it will work. If you planned on this being a full time set up or a longer trip the answer would definitely be different.
