Travel Supreme best years

Hello to all the Travel Supreme owners, I am really leaning toward Travel Supreme 5th wheels for a used unit. I heard Travel Supreme went to aluminum framing around 2004 or 2005, can anyone confirm this? Can anyone give their opinions which years were best and which to avoid if any? I am wanting as new a model(Select or Classic) possible that still has good quality before their closing.

Thanks

We had an aluminum framed 2004 that we custom ordered new. 43ft w 2 bedrooms. We drive it over 250,000 miles with very little problems other than the terrible Goodyear G rated tires (go-pops) of which we had no less than 9 blowouts.

TS ceased productions. May-June of 2008. A few of their key people now are with Forks RV/Continental Coach.

TS was among the best full time brands; perhaps second only to Teton. Stay away from the River Canyon line as they were built for vacation use, not full timing and are not as rugged.

Any specific questions you have?

We have a 2000 TS EXPRESS 36 footer and ours has an aluminum frame! It sits in a campground, it is our summer home and we love it, we have had very few complaints over the years but we don't travel with it so if that helps with your decision good!

Thanks for the information. I didn't know they had aluminum frames in 2000. I was just going by the information on the NADA website as to when they started having the aluminum frame option .
