Types of grease

2 grease questions: What type of grease is used to E-Z lube dexter axels? What type is used to lube a Curt 20k fifth wheel hitch?

I personally like the Lucas red bearing grease. It's what I use on the wet bolts, my air hitch, and what I used to pack wheel bearing with. I currently have the Dexter Never-lubs, so that's one chore I don't have to do.

Consider a teflon lube plate for the hitch--eliminate the mess.

The Dexter manual lists approved greases. Use one of them.

Agree with the lube plate, the Curt hitch also has zerk fittings for the articulating head.
