Underbody Insulation?

We have a '06 Montana 3400RL. It was flooded during recent rains in Florida. Fortunately, the water only rose 2" above the bottom of the door, so it did not get to the sub-flooring. But the underbelly sat in water for 24 hrs.

We are 12 hrs away and can't get to it for another 30 days. My questions are: what type of insulation is used under the flooring? Is it sprayed or fiberglass batts?

How does one remove the cover underneath? I don't recall how it is attached.

We have found someone who can work on it in about a week, so I need to get a plan together on what work will need to be done.

Thanks

Someone can take a utility knife and make a slit in the under fabric to determine the type/condition of the insulation. My gray tank leaked once and I cut a large flap opening and removed the underside fiberglass insulation which I dried and reinstalled. I used black gorilla tape to seal the opening after cleaning the seam with denatured alcohol. The insulation needs to be dried or replaced before mold sets in.

Axles, brakes and levelers will need replaced as will any wiring under the floor, which is probably most of the wiring. Any pumps or other electrical components like remote tank valves will also be toast. If it was submerged it will need replacing whether it was wood, insulation or electric. Good luck, hope your insurance will be kind to you.

This. Even if you have good insurance it’s probably a total on a 13 yr old coach.
