Group,
I have a 2011 3055 Bighorn we just got it a few months back and have taken it out a couple of times.
My question is in the battery / hydraulics compartment there is a white switch and I have no idea what it is for. The dealer that we got it from didn't go over this.
Also there is a power off switch in there too, I turned it off so the batteries don't get discharged, but the converter is still powered. I hear it running.
Is this an add on that the old owners did or the factory.

Thanks,

That switch is used for a bank of battery, normally position 1 for running on battery number 1 position 2 is for running on battery number 2, and position all means you are connected to both batteries at the same time.
Have a good day

OP is asking about the little white switch not the battery cut off switch.

I should have split the question into two. My main concern is the white one.
The red switch has only an on and off position, and when it is off the converter is still running off it.

On my unit it is a aux slide switch to be able to operate the hydraulics from outside the unit. Have you tried using it yet?

I'd press it and see what happens.

Yes I have the same switch it is an external slide switch. I don't use mine I check around my 5er for clearance issues then use the switch inside to watch them go out

The white switch runs the hydraulic motor in or out for the slides.

The red knob is the battery disconnect. OFF means the batteries are disconnected completely. They will not get discharged, and they will not get charged.

ON means they will get charged and discharged.

The converter is separat and doesn't care about the battery d/c.
